You don't need to book a full conversion. We're equally happy to take on smaller individual jobs.

Do you offer mobile campervan conversion services?

Yes.

Many of our services can be carried out at your home, driveway, business premises or another suitable location.

Mobile services can include:

Sound deadening and insulation
Carpet lining
Flooring and batten installation
Ceiling fitting
LED lighting and electrical installations
12V sockets and USB charging points
Leisure battery and charging system upgrades
Interior panels and finishing
Furniture installation and modifications

Some jobs are better suited to our workshop, particularly those involving extensive fabrication, CNC cutting or larger conversions.

Can I book just one service?

Absolutely.

You might already be converting your own van and simply need somebody to install the carpet lining, complete the electrics or fit a ceiling.

There's no requirement to book additional work.

We can complete one stage of your conversion, several stages or the entire project.

Do you work on all makes and sizes of vans?

Insulation, Carpet Lining & Flooring

Can you sound deaden and insulate my van?

Yes.

We install sound-deadening and thermal insulation materials to help improve comfort inside your van.

Our installations can include Dodo Mat sound-deadening products and suitable thermal insulation for walls, doors, ceilings and floors.

Whether you're starting with an empty panel van or improving an existing conversion, we can recommend an appropriate approach.

Do you offer mobile carpet lining?

Yes.

Carpet lining is one of the services we can offer at your location, provided there's suitable space and working conditions.

We can supply and install automotive lining carpet to suitable interior surfaces, including walls, metalwork and existing panels.

Carpet lining can be booked as a standalone service or combined with insulation, flooring or other conversion work.

Can you install campervan flooring?

Yes.

We can prepare and install campervan floors, including:

Floor insulation
Timber battens and supporting structures
Plywood subfloors
Vinyl and other suitable floor finishes
Thresholds, edging and finishing trims

We can work on an empty van or replace flooring as part of an existing campervan refit.

Campervan Electrics & Power Systems

Do you install campervan electrics?

Yes.

We offer electrical installation and upgrade services for new conversions and existing campervans.

Yes.

We can help with conventional leisure battery systems and suitable portable power station installations.

The best solution depends on your electrical requirements, budget and how you use your camper.

Whether you need basic lighting and USB charging or a more comprehensive electrical setup, we can discuss the available options.

Can you upgrade my existing electrical system?

Yes.

If your existing system isn't meeting your needs, we can assess it and discuss suitable improvements.

This might include adding charging points, improving battery charging, installing additional lighting or upgrading parts of your leisure power system.

We can also investigate problems with existing installations.

Ceilings & Interior Finishing

Do you install campervan ceilings?

Yes.

We offer several ceiling installation options, including:

Plywood ceilings
Acoustic slat panels
Tongue and groove finishes
Carpet-lined ceilings
Integrated LED lighting
Ceiling insulation
Roof vent and fan openings

We can install a ceiling as an individual service or as part of a larger conversion.

Can you fit panels or materials I've already purchased?

In many cases, yes.

If you've already purchased wall panels, ceiling materials, flooring or other suitable components, we may be able to install them for you.

We can discuss compatibility, fitting requirements and any additional materials needed before starting.

Upgrades & Refits

Do you work on existing campervans?

Yes.

You don't need to start with an empty van.

We work on existing campervans, older conversions, self-builds and partially completed projects.

Whether you want to improve insulation, update your electrics, change the flooring, add storage or alter the interior layout, we're happy to discuss what's possible.

Can you finish a conversion I've already started?

Absolutely.

Many people start converting their own van before discovering that certain jobs require specialist tools, additional space or more time than expected.

We can take over individual stages, help finish your project or work alongside you through our Build With Us service.

You can remain involved as much or as little as you prefer.

Build With Us

Can I work on my own campervan at your workshop?

Yes, by prior arrangement.

Our Build With Us service is designed for people who want to be involved in converting their own campervan while having access to a suitable working environment and practical assistance.

You can carry out the jobs you're comfortable with and ask us to help with the more difficult stages.

Do it yourself. Build it with us. Or let us do it.

What facilities are available?

Our site near Nantwich includes workshop space, tools and CNC manufacturing facilities.

Low-roof vans can be accommodated inside where space permits, while larger and high-roof vans can be worked on outside within the compound.

Toilet facilities are available, although we currently don't have showers.

All workshop access and facilities must be arranged in advance.

Can I stay overnight while working on my van?

Yes, for suitable projects and by prior arrangement.

Customers undertaking multi-day projects may be able to stay overnight in their own campervan within our private compound.

This can be particularly convenient if you're travelling from further away.

Please contact us beforehand to discuss your requirements.

Campervan Furniture & CNC Services

Do you manufacture campervan furniture?

Yes.

Alongside our conversion and installation services, we manufacture CNC-cut and bespoke campervan furniture.

Our range includes kitchens, overhead lockers, cupboards, storage units, beds and other interior components.

We offer laminated plywood finishes as well as paint-ready furniture that can be finished to your preferred colour.

Can you make furniture to my measurements?

In many cases, yes (option fee for design work/time)

We can discuss custom dimensions, alternative layouts and modifications to existing designs.

We also offer CNC design and cutting for suitable one-off components, replacement panels and small production runs.

Furniture can be supplied flat-pack, assembled or fitted, depending on the product.

Other Vehicle Services On-Site

Are other automotive services available at your location?

Yes.

RoamApe is based within a multi-trade automotive site near Nantwich, alongside independent businesses offering additional vehicle services.

Depending on availability, these may include MOT testing, tyres, servicing, mechanical repairs, diagnostics, suspension, bodywork, spraying and performance-related work.

These businesses operate independently from RoamApe, with their own pricing and arrangements.

If your van requires other work during your visit, we may be able to point you towards a suitable specialist on-site.

Bookings, Quotes & Contact

How do I get a quote?

Simply contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email.

It helps if you can provide:

Your van's make, model, year and wheelbase
A description of the work required
Photographs of the van or existing interior
Whether you prefer mobile or workshop fitting
Your preferred timescale
Any materials or equipment you've already purchased

For larger projects, it's also helpful to know your approximate budget and any layout ideas you have.

We'll discuss your requirements and provide a quote based on the work involved.

Do you supply materials?

Yes.

For many services, we can supply the materials needed for the installation.

If you've already purchased suitable materials, we're also happy to discuss fitting them.

We'll agree what's included before work begins.

Where are you based?

We're based near Nantwich, Cheshire, with access to workshop facilities and a multi-trade automotive site.

We also offer mobile fitting for suitable services.

How do I book?

Get in touch with details of your van and the work you'd like completed.

We'll discuss the project, confirm the scope of work, provide a quotation and arrange a suitable booking date.

For larger jobs, a booking deposit may be required.
